Shaquem Griffin
Consultant with the NFL Legends Community and Motivational Speaker
A former linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins, Shaquem has turned heads and shattered expectations at every level of his career. Born with amniotic band syndrome, he had his left hand amputated at just four years old—but that didn’t stop him from becoming a Division I standout, AAC Defensive Player of the Year, and a Peach Bowl MVP at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where he played alongside his twin brother, Shaquill.
Shaquem made national headlines when he ran a jaw-dropping 4.38-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine—cementing his place in the league and inspiring millions. He was drafted by the Seahawks in 2018, making history once again by joining the same team as his brother. One of his most iconic moments? Sacking Aaron Rodgers in the 2020 playoffs.
Today, Shaquem is a consultant with the NFL Legends Community and a sought-after motivational speaker, sharing his journey of resilience, determination, and purpose with Fortune 500 companies, college campuses, and teams across the country.
He’s a winner of the NFL Game Changer Award, Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year, and continues to live by his powerful mantra: “Please don’t tell me what I can’t do.”
Prepare to be inspired, challenged, and reminded of what’s possible when passion meets purpose.
